Planning Permission Rules
Most of our advertising sites in West Sussex fall under “permitted development” and do not need full planning permission. However, some locations and larger formats may require consent from the local planning authority.
- We always check the relevant planning rules before installing any advertising.
- Where consent is needed, we either confirm it is already in place or support the property owner and advertiser with the application process.
- No advertising is installed without the property owner’s written agreement.

Safety Guidelines
We design, install and maintain all advertising to be safe for the public and the property.
- All fixings and materials are chosen to be secure and suitable for the building or structure.
- Installations are positioned so they do not block exits, windows, CCTV, or important signage.
- We avoid any placement that could distract drivers at dangerous points on the road.
- Regular checks are carried out to make sure displays remain safe and in good condition.
If we identify a safety issue, we may temporarily remove or adjust an installation until it is resolved.
Installation & Removal Process

- We aim to make installation and removal simple for both property owners and advertisers.
- We agree the exact location, size and type of advertising with the property owner in writing.
- We schedule installation at a time that causes minimal disruption.
- Our team installs the advertising and checks it is secure and compliant.
- At the end of the agreed campaign period, we remove the advertising and any fixings that are no longer needed.
- We make reasonable efforts to leave the property in the same or better condition than before installation.
- If a property owner needs early removal, they can contact us and we will arrange a suitable date, subject to contract terms.
Insurance & Damage Policy
We take reasonable care to protect the properties we work with and the public.
- We hold appropriate business insurance for our activities.
- If damage is caused directly by our installation or removal work, we will assess it promptly and agree a fair remedy with the property owner, in line with our contract.
- Property owners remain responsible for the general condition and maintenance of their building or land.
